Annetta Cynthia Ridings, 97, of Columbia, SC, passed away May 25, 2015. She was born April 25, 1918, in Louisville, KY. She was the daughter of the late William A. Vogel and Anna Degener Vogel. She was a member of Spring Valley Baptist Church in Columbia.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 56 years, William Duke Ridings, and great-grandson, Chase A. McGee. Survivors include her children, William Ridings, Jr. (Cheryl), David Ridings, and Debbie Ridings; grandchildren, Jennifer Ridings McGee (Major), Jeffrey Ridings, Heather Alexander (Ryan), and Kara Bale; great-grandchildren, Ann Ryan, Case and William Alexander; brother, Elmer R. Vogel (Ruth); sisters, Mildred Sedoris and Viola Allen (Dick); sister-in-law, Kathy Ridings, all of Louisville, Kentucky.
A family burial is scheduled at a later date in Niceville, Florida. In lieu of flowers, a donation is suggested to Mission Trips of the First Baptist Church, 622 Bayshore Dr., Niceville Florida, 32578.
