My most sincere condolences to the Martin Family. SSG Martin was an invaluable member of our team when we worked together at Fort Stewart before I departed there in 1998. Outside of military formalities he was easy going, well liked, and fun to be around. My regrets cannot equal the pain of your loss but I do want you to know that many who knew him share the sorrow of his passing and pray for God's mercy in lifting the weight from your heavy hearts.

Dear aunt Wanda and family:
Sorry for your loss of a good man my uncle, But now he is in no pain and he's in a good place his mom and dad will look after him for you. he's up there with his other siblings that passed before him. he's up there with my to children also. he will be waiting for you he will watch over you and your children and grand and great grand children also he will be missed greatly. He is gone but never to be forgotten.
Sorry for your loss of a good man my uncle, But now he is in no pain and he's in a good place his mom and dad will look after him for you. he's up there with his other siblings that passed before him. he's up there with my to children also. he will be waiting for you he will watch over you and your children and grand and great grand children also he will be missed greatly. He is gone but never to be forgotten.

I am truly sorry for your loss. Please accept my deepest sympathies and some words of comfort from God's Word, the Bible.
The loss of a dear husband of 45 years can cause pain and feelings of loneliness, but know that you are not alone. Our merciful, heavenly Father is there for you to help you endure this difficult time. (Psalms 121:1-3; 145:18, 19) So, please call upon and accept all the help from “the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our trials.”~~2 Corinthians 1:3, 4~~
Our loving God also promises to reunite us with our loved one who have fallen asleep in death. (Job 14:14, 15; John 5:28, 29) Knowing you will see your dear Gerald again will hopefully bring you some solace during your time of bereavement.

Gerald was very kind and your son Tim is a lot like him. I know my words can't make up for your loss, but you and your husband raised a great son and Tim is one of a few good friends I have met in my 18 year military career.
