Do not stand at my grave and weep. I am not there...I do not sleep. I am a 1000 winds that blow. I am the diamond glints on snow.i am the sunlight on ripened grain. I am the gentle autumn rain. When u waken in the morning's hush, I am the swift uplifting rush of quiet white doves in circled flight. I am the soft stars that shine at night. Do not stand by my grave and cry; I am not there, I did not die.
A Hopi Poem by Mary Frye.
My heart goes out to your family. This poem was read at Dad's funeral and it uplifts me. I hope it does the same for you. Sincerely, Kay Nims, retired LtCol, USAF

Wendell was a great friend in high school! We lost touch after that. But once we did meet at a high school reunion later. He hadn't change much. He could still make me laugh as we shared a few good memories and did some catching up. I fondly remember him driving his dad's big white Cadillac and thinking that he must of done a lot of talking to get that privilege. :)
I am so sorry to hear of his death! If I could be there for the funeral service, I would be. Please know I am sincerely sorry for your loss. He was a true friend I will always remember!
Sincerely,
Becky M. Wright
