Terry William Davis, LTC (Ret)

Terry W. Davis, age 68, passed away on 20 June 2015 from complications due to Agent Orange.  Funeral Service will be held on Friday, June 26, 2015 at Trinity United Methodist Church in Blythewood, SC at the crossroads of Blythewood Road and Boney Road at 11AM, with Rev. C. Nels Ledwell officiating.  Burial will immediately follow at Fort Jackson National Cemetery with full Military honors.  Family will receive friends on Thursday, June 25, 2015 from 6 - 8 PM at Kornegay and Moseley Funeral Home, 4645 Hard Scrabble Road, Columbia SC 29229.

Surviving are his loving wife, Raisa Davis of Blythewood, SC; daughters, Audrey Graziano of Alexandria, VA, Kimberly Kuhn of Columbia, SC, and Carrie Shillingburg of Flower Mound, TX; son, Robert Davis of Columbia, SC; sisters, Grace Callaway of Brownsboro, TX and Susie Davis of Dallas, TX.

Terry was in the Army for 21 years and retired as a Lieutenant Colonel.  He served two tours in Viet Nam, as a helicopter pilot.  His Army medals include the Legion of Merit, Distinguished Flying Cross for Heroism, two Bronze Star Medals, Air Medal (second through twenty-eighth Oak Leaf Clusters), Air Medal (thirtieth through fifty-fifth awards).  He was Vice President for outside physicians with Lexington Medical Center.  He loved to travel, play golf, gardening and cruising.
