My dad, Hazel Jackson, Jr., whom often went by the name Johnny Jackson, is remembered as funny, charismatic and adventurous. Dad married young, joined the United States Air Force and left SC, soon after. A family man, dad traveled the world with us in tow. His first wife Catherine, along with Sandra, the eldest daughter and myself, Kathy Ann, went from Alaska to Turkey and many places in between. Dad was later blessed with his first son, Mark, my younger brother, whom shares dad's humor, wit and charisma.
Dad has four beautiful and bright grand children, Catherine and Clayborne (CJ), my children. Also, Terrell and Tierra (twins) children of Mark and his lovely wife LaTonia"
Dad remarried later in life and resided here in SC with Dot and their two dear sons Bryan and Correy.
We love dad and pray "May he rest in peace."

Sometimes it's hard to understand and harder still to say "Thy will be done" when sorrow comes, and sadness fills our day; But faith was meant for times like these, and if we take God's hand, with love and wisdom, He will help our hearts to understand.

May God be with the family in this time of sorrow.

Mark, Kathy, Sandra, Corey and Bryan - I have known your Father since I was 5 years old when I was living in Anchorage Alaska where our Father's were stationed. During that time our parents were the best of friends and our Father's were "similar souls".(LOL) Your Father was handsome, charming, fun loving, charismatic and when he walked into a room, well...........you knew he was there! Mr. Jackson lived a wonderfully full life and was fortunate to have found love "twice" Kathryn (Mama Kat) and later, Dot. As a result of those unions came his greatest accomplishments - his children! Each of you have a piece of your Father within you, so continue to let his light shine! Remember, love is eternal and never dies. You will always have your Father at your side; however, this time he will look a little different.......................as he will have a halo and wings.

Dot - Wishing you "Peace and Love in the Midst of Life Trials".
