While it is certainly sad to learn that you’re mourning the loss of your dear Gerald, it saddens our God even more. No doubt, you have many fond memories which will resurface at times. And because you do have memories, certainly shows that almighty God has memories as well. Therefore, with full confidence you can take comfort in knowing that He will forever end death and will restore perfect life to all those in his memory (Rev. 21:3, 4, John 5:28,29). Please accept my condolences at this most distressing time.

It is hard to express how we feel knowing that someone whom we love and find dear to our hearts has transitioned on. Having the opportunity to spend time with someone as precious to us as Gerald has truly been a blessing. He had a way of making anyone he encountered feel as if they were his best friend and for that, we are grateful. We are so honored to have had him in our lives. We miss him already; and we look forward to seeing again one day. What a precious soul. Truly!

There are so many great things that I could say about Gerald. Too many to list here but the one thing that I think sums it all up- He was Christ-like. A true man of God who showed his love for others by how he treated them. My sincere sympathy to his family. I will miss seeing you at our Nicaragua mission meetings Gerald. Thank you for making my first mission experience a fantastic one!

It is with a sad heart that we share our memories about "The Candy Man" Jerry. My girls always knew when he was around there would always be a bag of candy close by..It was partly because of him that I met my husband Jim. We shared so many fun times and memories with Jerry, Janice and his family in Florida and many friends here. But Jerry has met up with Janice and hopefully Jim so they can all enjoy each other once again...Love, Karen and girls.....o

What a joy to have known Gerald! His passion for Christ was evident in the way he always served others so well, from the overflow of his walk with Jesus. His presence here on earth will be sorely missed, but we are so thankful that his family and dear friends grieve with hope and know that he is now at peace in the arms of his savior. Know of our continued prayers for his family and his beloved church family as you miss this dear man!
