A graveside service to honor the life of retired Staff Sargent Benjamin Franklin Skinner III, 68, of Neeses, SC, will be held 1:00 PM, Friday, April 28, 2017 at Ft. Jackson National Cemetery with full military honors. Memorials may be made to the Wounded Warrior Project.
Benjamin, husband of Faye Goldiner Skinner, died Friday, April 21, 2017. He was born in Darlington Co, SC, the son of the late Benjamin F. Skinner and Pearl Arrants Skinner Blackwell.
Benjamin is survived by his wife of 43 years; children, Brian Skinner, Melissa Skinner, and Jason Skinner (Cecilia) ; grandchildren, Alexander, Abigail, Soffia, Matthew and Coraline; sister, Barbara Ann Fairchild (Perry) of Belton, TX; numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews; and Lady Bird and Bandit, his 4 legged companions.
