A memorial service for Alice Amy Dyches, of Columbia, will be held at 11am on Saturday, February 7, 2015 at Awaken Church, 171 Newland Rd, Columbia. Ms. Dyches passed away Wednesday, February 4, 2015 at the age of 86. Born in Honolulu, HI on March 5, 1928 she was the daughter of the late Charles F. Waddington and Llewellyn Ewing. She loved Jesus and God's creation, with a particular care for animals and gardening.
Alice is survived by her sons, Eric Shelby of West Columbia and Glen Stamey of North Augusta, SC; daughter, Barbara Tandon of Columbia; grandchildren, Alex (Bethany) and Michael (Keah) Tandon; great-grandchildren, Malachi Tandon; brother, David (Shirley) Waddington of TN; niece, nephew, great nieces and great nephew.
