Timothy Stuart Ray

Timothy S. Ray (72) passed away April 7, 2023 due to complications from major surgery. He was born in Vallejo, CA. He lived in various states during his youth following his father’s Navel career. Tim received his master’s in Engineering from the University of South Carolina. He was an active member in Spring Valley Baptist Church where he sang in the church choir, Valley Voices, and God’s Men. He was an Eagle Scout and received the Order of the Arrow, as did his sons. He is survived by his wife Dianne Ray, sons Joseph (wife Sarah) and Stuart (wife Meghan) and four grandchildren Avigail, Gadol, Asher, and Millie. He also leaves behind his mother Jean, two uncles and four siblings Valton Ray (wife Sandra), Darrel (wife Deborah), Colleen (husband Jim), Patty (husband David) and numerous nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Spring Valley Baptist Choir or their building and grounds
