Sam Schneider

Sam Schneider, a Pastor and successful realtor of Columbia, SC went to rest at the feet of his Savior unexpectedly on September 13, 2021 at the age of 61. 

Pastor Sam is survived by his loving wife of 37 years, Lisa Schneider; his children, Samuel Schneider (Courtney), Seth Schneider (Tori), and Hanna Schneider; grandchildren, Liam, Judah, Caden, Sophia, Mia, and Micah; siblings, Theresa Schneider, Katherine Green (Dr. Edward), David Schneider (Susan), Joseph Schneider (Susan), Todd Schneider, and Amy Poepping (Eugene); as well as a host of nieces and nephews. 

He is preceded in death by his parents, David and Betty Schneider. 

Pastor Sam was born in Morris, MN on October 12, 1959 to David and Betty Schneider. He graduated from Southeastern Bible College in 1983 with a degree in Theology. Pastor Sam, pastored Rivers International for 19 years. After resigning, Pastor Sam started working for Lance Woodley Realty, where he had a very successful real estate career. He always had a smile on his face and a song in his heart. If you met Pastor Sam, you never forgot him. He impacted many lives with the love of Jesus that he shared everywhere he went. He will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all who knew him.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 6:30 PM on Sunday, September 19, 2021 at International Praise in Elgin, SC. The family will receive friends from 5:30 PM to 6:30 PMprior to the service. Flowers and condolences may be offered at 5071 Percival Rd. Elgin, SC 29045.
