Rose Anderson

On May 9, 2018 Rose Falero Anderson, at the age of 88, passed away to be with the Lord and the love of her life, R. Alan Anderson, who predeceased her in 1994. She leaves behind her five children, whom she adored. Steven Anderson of Newington, CT, Lori Anderson Boyter (Barry Thombs) of Texas, Julie Anderson Bushnell (Steve) of East Windsor, CT, Trudy Anderson Kocher (Karl) of Columbia, SC, and Karen Anderson of Columbia, SC. Rose was born and raised in  NY. and lived there  for many years before moving to Ridgefield, CT, in 1974. They then moved to Simsbury, CT, until she retired to Hilton Head, SC. She finished her story in Columbia, SC, where Trudy, Karen, Karl, and Amber took fabulous care of her. She was employed at Proctor and Gamble where she retired in 1992. Rose also left behind 14 grandchildren: Ryan, Heather, Nicollette, Michelle, Lauren, Nicholas (Katie), Amber (Grant), Jeremy (Kelsey), Jordan, Michelle, Patrick, Luke, Steven, and Jennifer. She had 5 great-grandchildren: Emma, Olivia, Noah, Damian, and Elaina. She also leaves behind her dear sister-in-laws, Ann Anderson and Gloria Falero who were like sisters to her. She also leave behind a nephew Ralph Falero (Lynn) NC, who was like a son to her, along with so many neices and nephews that she loved but  we just couldn't list them all. She spent her last year at the Waterford, in Columbia, where she was well-cared for and enjoyed countless hours of playing Bridge with her dear friends. She was the matriarch of the family and will surely be missed. A private service will be held at the convenience of the family.
