Robert Forrest Adams, 75, of Columbia passed away surrounded by his loving family September 7, 2022 . Robert was born December 11, 1946 in Allentown, Pennsylvania. Mr. Adams is survived by his wife Sondra Lee Adams; daughters, Jennifer (James) Lindler and Holly Adams, Robin (Carlos) DeJesus; grandchildren, Brandon Rogers (Carol) , Zachary Rogers, Seth Rogers, Robert Lindler and his fiance Sarah and Jacob Lindler; great grandchildren Austin, Adrianna and Makayla; siblings Joyce Mohr, Ray Adams (Marge) , Jean Collock (Al), Roy Adams, Donald Adams (Joyce) And Darlene Smith (Steve). Robert served in the US Navy during the Vietnam War and he retired from Mack trucks after 34 years. In lieu of flowers please donate to SCOA Cares Foundation.

He will be laid to rest in a private ceremony at Fort Jackson National Cemetery on Sept 19 with a reception at the residence after the funeral"
