Mary Lou (Graham) Dabbs

Mary Lou Graham Dabbs, 79, of Columbia, SC, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, August 22, 2021 while surrounded by her family.  Born November 3, 1941 in Charlotte, NC, she was the daughter to the late Donald Emmett Graham and Mary Louise Arnett Graham.

Mary Lou retired from Richland School District 2 in 2004 after a career dedicated to helping many students.  Her passion for her career was evident by the numerous children’s lives in which she had such a meaningful impact.  

Survivors include her daughter Sharon Elaine Fleming (Darryl) of Columbia, SC, her sons Kenneth Wayne Dabbs Jr. of Columbia, SC and Donald Dabbs (Gail) of The Philippines and three dearly beloved grandchildren, Trey Carrion, Shawn Carrion (Fiancé Dublin) and Nicole Carrion (Fiancé Austin) whom lovingly referred to her as “Granny.”  Along with her parents, she was predeceased by three brothers, Tommy, Don and Charles Graham. She was known as “sister” by her 3 brothers.

A visitation for family and friends will be held on Tuesday, August 31, 2021 from 6:00-8:00pm at Kornegay & Moseley,  4645 Hard Scrabble Rd., Columbia, SC 29229.
