Linda Diane Burdick

A service to celebrate the life of Linda Diane Bur- dick, 74, of Columbia will be held at 1:00pm Friday March 11, 2022 at Northeast Pres- byterian Church. The family will receive friends in the Grand Hall of the church one hour prior to the service be- ginning at 12:00 noon. In lieu of flowers, memorial dona- tions may be made to North- east Presbyterian Church or Transitions.
Mrs Burdick passed away Friday March 4, 2022. She was born in Akron, Ohio and was the daughter of the late
Robert and Wilma Simmons Shaw. Mrs. Burdick was a graduate of Lincoln Chris- tian University in Lincoln, Illinois and was a supervis- ing social worker for nine years for the State of Illinois. She loved everything music, studied piano, was a singer and former choir director. She also was a excellent seamstress and made many of her clothes. Mrs. Burdick was a member of Northeast Presbyterian Church.
Mrs. Burdick is survived by her loving husband, Lloyd Palmer Burdick; cousins, Debbie Knepp and Wilma Davis both of Akron, Ohio; sister in law, Joyce McClel- land and brother and sister in law, David and Christine Baynes; seven nieces and nephews and eight great nieces and nephews .
