On Sunday, February 5th, 2023, Larry Dean Wray, loving husband and father, passed away at the age of 67.

Larry was born on August 16th, 1955 in York, SC to Lonzo Ferman Wray and Vinnie Mae (Costner) Wray. He served in the Army National Guard and enjoyed working for the last twenty years as Maintenance Supervisor at Pawley’s Pier Village in Pawleys Island, SC. On December 22nd, 1984, he married Judith Ann (Wood) Wray. Together they raised a daughter, Nancy Dawn (Wray) Ashley.

He had a passion for woodworking, watching sports, and classic rock. His favorite thing to do was spend time with his grandchildren. He was known by his friends and family as the man who could fix anything. He had a quick wit, infectious smile, and a gentle spirit.

He is survived by his wife Judith Ann, his daughter Nancy (Bryan), grandchildren Grayson and Everly Ashley, sisters Margaret Mayo (Sonny), Jorie Davidson (Randy), Darlene Ivey (Donnie), and brother Leroy Wray (Linda), as well as several nieces and nephews.
