Jon D. Johnson

Jon Dwayne Johnson, 58, of Elgin SC passed away on July 18, 2020. Born August 3, 1961 in Warren OH, he was the son of the late Charles Johnson and Mary Lou Chicko. Jon was predeceased by his son, Jeremiah Johnson. 
He is survived by his loving wife, Edna Johnson; Children, Joey Johnson and Vanessa Johnson; Grandchildren, Zoe and Wheeler Harper; Brother, Jeff Johnson of Florida, and many of his family members and friends from Florida and Ohio. Jon, proudly known as Poppy to his grandbabies, was a very well known and loved man who will be dearly missed by many. 
Visitation will be held Friday, July 24, 2020 at Kornegay & Moseley Funeral Home on Hardscrabble Road, Columbia SC from 6pm until 8pm. Services will be held on Saturday, July 25, 2020 at 2pm.
