Jennifer (Hickey) Cooper

Jennifer Hickey Cooper, 45, of Lexington, SC, gained her wings on September 21 surrounded by family.  
Jenny was born on Feb. 23, 1977 to Thomas John (TJ) Hickey and Susanne Cary Hickey Knight. 
Jenny was a loving mother who adored her daughters.  She was their biggest cheerleader.  Jenny was dedicated to being an amazing mom whose involvement in their lives was her top priority.  
She was also a “fitness fiend” (her words).  She joined Females in Action (FiA) for the fellowship and the family that she had heard FiA cultivated.   Jenny loved burpees and this is where her FiA name “Burpee” was born.  She found love, support and friendships through fitness and FiA. 
She is survived by her two beautiful daughters, Shelby and Camden Cooper, mother Susanne Cary Hickey Knight, father Thomas John (TJ) Hickey (Melinda), two brothers Matthew Hickey (Erin), and Robert Hickey.  As well as, many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and friends. 
A memorial service will be held at Saxe Gotha Presbyterian Church, located at 
5503 Sunset Blvd. Lexington, SC 29072 on Saturday Oct. 1, 2022 at 10:00 a.m.   The family will receive friends in the church gymnasium immediately following the service.
