Elizabeth “Beth” Kearns Litchfield

 Elizabeth (Beth) Kearns Litchfield, 62, of Blythewood, SC passed away peacefully on April 5, 2022 at her home. She was born January 25, 1960, in Charleston to the late Donald Paul Kearns, Sr. and Dorothy Beckroge Kearns. Beth grew up in Mount Pleasant where she attended East Cooper School. Beth was a graduate of College Preparatory High School (1978) and Clemson University (1982) where she received a degree in civil engineering. While attending Clemson she played volleyball her freshman year and was a member of Tiger Lettermen, Delta Delta Delta Sorority, Kappa Alpha little sister and served on Pan-Hellenic Council. Over the years, Beth enjoyed many fun times at Edisto Beach (her happy place).  

   She is survived by her loving husband, Dan Litchfield, sons Scott Litchfield (Madeline Joye) and Jason Litchfield, brothers Donald Kearns (Molly) and Mark Kearns (Terri Moore), sister Marcia Moore (Norman), sister-in-law Traci Kearns and many nephews and nieces. Beth is predeceased by her parents and her brother Tim Kearns.

    Beth was employed by Lorick Office Products for the last 27 years. She was blessed to be surrounded by family and many close  friends who were helping fight her battle with Cholangiocarcinoma cancer. Visitation will be Thursday, April 21 5:30-7:30pm at Kornegay & Moseley Funeral Home at 4645 Hardscrabble Road, Columbia SC 29229. Memorial Service will be Friday, April 22, 2022 at 1pm at New Kirk Presbyterian Church, 491 Langford Road, Blythewood, SC 29016.
