Donna Witt Miller, COLUMBIA - Donna Witt Miller, 74, died Tuesday, May 3rd at her home in Spring Valley. Born November 19th, 1947 at Saint Vincent’s in Jacksonville, FL to William Henry “Bill” and Lillian Lanell “Nell” Witt, Donna attended Fletcher High School in Jacksonville Beach and studied art at Jacksonville University, Coastal Carolina University, and the University of South Carolina. Donna spent her professional career in real estate, working in development, interior design, property management, and private mortgage lending in both Carolinas and Florida. Her passions included travel, gardening, animals, art, and antiques, but none was more sacred to her than family. Donna devoted herself to endless projects in support of her loved ones, planning and hosting parties, weddings, and celebrations for her family and close friends at her beloved mountain home in Boone, NC. Outgoing and gregarious, she never encountered a stranger, only a friend she hadn’t made yet. 

​Donna is predeceased by her father, husband, Ira Miller, brother William Henry Witt, Jr, and son Russell Prince (Jennifer). She is survived by her mother, sons Michael and Scott Prince (Ann), and grandchildren Andrew, Anna, David, Jacob, and Jordan. Memorial services are under the direction of Kornegay & Moseley Funeral Home, 4645 Hard Scrabble Road, Columbia. The family will receive guests at the funeral home on Monday, May 9th, beginning at 1:00with services to follow at 2:00. In lieu of flowers, donations should be made to Epworth Children’s Home.
