Crystal passed away peacefully with her mother and her daughter by her side June 18, 2018. She was the daughter of Ola Yvonne Adams and Glenn Adams. Crystal retired as a SFC in the US Army where she was a reporter and Journalist for the Stars and Stripes. She was a 1977 graduate of Fairview High School and was a Cum Laude graduate of the University of South Carolina with a BA in sociology/social work and held other preferred health education certificates in medical assistant and phlebotomy. Crystal was an amazing person, there wasn’t a person that meet her, who didn’t like her. She had a laugh that could fill a room. She was always doing for others without ever expecting anything in return. She loved to travel and she loved to sit outside and bird watch. She was a writer, photographer, and journalist. Crystal was an amazing mother, spouse daughter and friend. She will be missed more than words can say.
Crystal is survived by her daughter, Jamie Yvonne Laureano and son in law, Howard Michael Michael Haltiwanger, II; grandchildren, Graycelynn Yvonne Haltiwanger and Howard Michael Haltiwanger, III and former spouse, Sotero Laureano. Crystal was preceded in death by her son, Kyle Brandon Laureano.
