Clark Lee Crawford, Sr.

Clark Lee Crawford, Sr. passed away peacefully at his home with his family at his side on March 13, 2023 in Blythewood, South Carolina.

Clark was born January 25, 1949 in Washington, D.C. He is the son of the late Virginia Lee and Jasper Crawford. Clark grew up and attended school in suburban Maryland.

Clark attended church at a young age with his grandparents and eventually gave his life to Christ. He was a faithful member of Forest Lake Presbyterian church in Columbia, South Carolina for over five years.

Clark loved to have his family visit and was always happy to see his granddaughter Ellie. Besides spending time with his family and friends, Clark enjoyed attending sports events. He especially enjoyed baseball and was an avid fan of the Baltimore Orioles. When he could not attend a sporting event, he liked watching on television.

Clark was employed by CDL for over thirty years. With this job, he traveled constantly and extensively throughout the United States and Canada. Before his retirement, he always looked forward to coming home to be with his wife Pat.

 Clark is survived by his wife Pat, four children Kellie (Chris) Ogle of Gaithersburg, Maryland; Clark Jr. (Kristen) Crawford of Roselle Park, New Jersey; Charles Crawford of Durham, North Carolina; Carter (Meagan) Crawford of Greenfield, Indiana and a stepson Ambrose (Kambia) Gordon of Stafford, Virginia. He is also survived by ten grandchildren.

 A Celebration of life will be held on April 1, 2023 at 2:00pm at Forest Lake Presbyterian Church in Columbia, South Carolina.
