Bruce Alexander Jenkins

Mr. Bruce Alexander Jenkins, age 52, transitioned to heaven at home April 22, 2020 after a long battle with cancer.  He was at peace in the home he loved surrounded by family and loved ones.

Born on May 9, 1967 in Jackson, MS, as a young man he would settle in Columbia SC. He was self-employed for over 20 years. Everyone knew that he was abundantly proud of his business. He built the BA Jenkins Company from the ground up with enthusiasm, integrity, values, strong work ethics, and perseverance.

Bruce was a dedicated companion, father, son, brother, and grandfather. He is survived by his longtime companion, Elizabeth Mayer; mother, Aldonia M. Amos and host of grandchildren, Nieces, Nephews, friends and family. He was preceded in death by his father the Late Jessie Jenkins and Stepfather George A. Hubbard.

Brothers: Bobby Jenkins, Luther Jenkins, and David Jenkins of Columbia, SC. Michael Jenkins of Germantown, MD.

Sisters: Jacqueline Reed of Columbia, SC; Michelle Jenkins-Knight of Jackson, MS; and Mary Hubbard of Durham, NC.

Children: Jennifer Jenkins, Justin Jenkins, Johnathan Jenkins, Elijah Jenkins, and Breana E. Williams 

Bruce also leaves behind a Host of Special Friends and loved ones: Phillip Grandon, Janice Tucker, Darryl Robinson, and many others.

A graveside service will be held at 11:00 am on April 29, 2020 at the Greenhaven Memorial Gardens & Life Tribute Center.
