Brian Clarke Obituary

Brian Douglas Clarke, 72, of Columbia, South Carolina, passed away on Friday, June 19th, 2020.

Brian was born December 1, 1947, at Maxwell Air Force Base, Montgomery, Alabama. He was preceded in death by his parents, C James Clarke, Lt Col USAF Retired, and Marguerite Clarke.

Brian married Mary Ann Carlton on June 19th, 1986 in Colorado Springs, CO.

Brian graduated from Mitchell High School, Colorado Springs, CO in 1966.

In 1968, Brian joined the United States Army and served his country honorably in Viet Nam as well as other countries and in the United States.

He is a Purple Heart Recipient.

Brian worked in Bowling Center Management for 48 years in the United States and Germany.

He is survived by his wife, Mary Ann and son, Ritchie Allen and

Wife, Sarah of Lexington SC.

He is survived by his brother, Barry of Federal Way, WA., his brother Bruce and his wife, Jane and their sons, Jamie, Cole and Carson of Burbank, CA., his sister Beverly and her son, Joshua, of Colorado Springs, CO., and his brother Brent and his, wife Barbara and their children, Bryce and Ariah of Colorado Springs, CO. Brian is also survived by his grandchildren, Piper, Bella, and Declin, of Lexington, SC.

A visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 24, 2020, from 6:00PM to 9:00PM, at the Kornegay & Moseley Funeral Home.

A private burial service will be held at the Ft Jackson Cemetery in Columbia, SC. On Thursday, June 25th, 2020, at 10:00AM, with Live Online streaming available.
