Barbara Ellen Lena

Barbara Ellen Lena, 72, passed away on Tuesday, June 7, 2022. Born in Charleston, South Carolina on July 21, 1949, she was the daughter of the late Mack Gaylord and Margaret L. Gaylord.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 30 years, Michael Lena; and son, Jamie Lena.

Left to cherish her memory are her children, Michael Lena, Jr. (Ellen), Sherri Poignant (Bruce), Toni Petschko (Jason), and Cassidy Lena; as well as 10 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild.

A funeral service will be held on Thursday, June 9, 2022 at 5pm at Kornegay & Moseley Funeral Home, 4645 Hard Scrabble Rd. Columbia, SC 29229. The family will receive visitors immediately following the service.

Entombment will be held at a later date at Poughkeepsie Rural Cemetery in Poughkeepsie, New York.
