Austin Nash Via

Austin Nash Via January 15, 1996 - February 6, 2023 Nash Via of Chattanooga  passed away Monday February 6th suddenly at his home.  Born in Florence SC, he was a lover of wine and song and loser of expensive sunglasses and poker games. Nash graduated from Ridge View High School where he was a highly decorated Lacrosse Player and made his way to Tusculum College to continue to play Lacrosse.  Nash had carved out a very good career for himself as a Logistics Broker.
Nash is survived by his Parents, David and Dana Via of Columbia SC; A sister, Devin, of Florence, SC, Aunt and Uncle Dibbe and Robert Edwards of Florence, SC, A cousin Sara of Atlanta GA, His Maternal Grandmother Mary Frances Webster and Husband Carl Webster of Lynchburg, numerous Cousins, and a Brother of a Friend, Freddie Kirkwood.  Nash is preceded in death by his Maternal Grandfather, Freddy "Big Daddy" Dennis and his Paternal Grandmother, Ruby Matthews. Dutifully waiting are his Dogs, Laya and Chewbacca and one slightly disinterested Cat, Dutch.
In Lieu of Flowers the family is asking that donations be made to the Humane Society of SC. The family will be receiving loved ones at 1pm and  a celebration of life service at 2pm at Kornegay-Moseley Funeral Home at 4645 Hard Scrabble Rd, Columbia, SC 29229 Saturday February 11, 2023.
