Yolanda Haladay Obituary

Mrs. Yolanda Haladay passed away Tuesday July 17, 2018. She was born in Ashtabula, Ohio on April 21, 1928. The former Miss Bayus, daughter of Mrs. Ann Bayus, received her nursing degree from St. Alexis Hospital School of Nursing. She met her husband, George, a decorated disabled American Veteran while working at the VA Hospital in Cleveland. Upon retirement, she relocated to Columbia to be near family. Mrs. Haladay was preceded in death by her husband, George. She is survived by sons Jeff (Janet) Haladay of West Columbia, Kevin (Rachel Most) Haladay of Chicago, IL, Craig Haladay of New York, NY; grandchildren, Mathew Haladay, Jeffrey (Michelle) Haladay, Alyssa (Blaine) Richardson, and Tyler Haladay; and great grandchildren Hartley and Georgia Richardson, and Hampton and Barrett Haladay.

Her passion for children was boundless, in lieu of flowers the family suggests memorials to be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
