Willie Davis, Jr.

Willie Davis Jr, age 84, of Orlando, FL passed away on May 21, 2017 at Florida Hospital, Orlando, FL. He was born January 7, 1934 in Winnsboro, SC to Eleanor Brice and Willie Davis Sr.. He served in the US Army during the Korean War and later on he worked 31yrs for Electric Boat in many trades in Groton, CT where he retired as a Painter in 1986. In the early 90s he became a Jehovah Witness, he was a faithful member of his  Congregation, never missed a service until his  health prevented him from  going, though he also enjoyed the outdoors, hunting and fishing being his favorite, his main pass time was reading his Bible and Field Service, going door to door. He would spend hours studying and reading anywhere in the house he could, with his Bible constantly next to him he was at peace. His survivors are his wife of 32yrs Celanie Davis, his children Vanessa, John Thomas, and Toni from earlier marriages, Julie, Jean Rony, Yvon and Margareth from his current marriage. Grandchildren, Jerome, Jason, Judy, Destinie, Emmanuel Jr, Ian, Londyn, Joseph and the newest addition Annabelle. His Sister Annamae Chambers all his nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews. There will be a Gravesite Service at Greenhaven Memorial 11020 Two Notch Rd in Elgin, SC. on Saturday June 3, 2017 at 11am.
