Linda Sue Leath Wallace, 70, was called home to be with her Lord and Savior on 16 February 2013. She passed away peacefully at the Agape Hospice House in Columbia.
She was born 2 December 1942, in Elizabethton, Tenn, and was the youngest daughter of the late JT and Louise Leath. She is survived by two sisters, Libby Harvey and Carolyn Welch.
Linda Sue was a graduate of the University of South Carolina. She was a retired and dedicated school teacher and taught for Guinyard Elementary School in St. Matthews.
She is survived by her husband Romley Wallace of West Columbia, and two daughters, Tammy (Mark) Petrina of San Antonio, TX, Cindy Sowerby of Goose Creek and one son, Romley (Sujata) Wallace, II of Lexington. As well as nine grandchildren, Mark II, Andrew, Matthew and Madeline Petrina, Blake and Emily Sowerby, Romley III, Asha and Preeya Wallace.
A memorial service and celebration of life to which relatives and friends are invited to attend will take place at Grace Chapel in West Columbia, at 2 PM on Saturday, 23 February 2013.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Parkinson Foundation or the Shriners Children Hospital in Greenville.
