A memorial service to celebrate the life of Joan Drawdy Fortner, 69, of Elgin will be held Friday August 25, 2017 in the chapel of Kornegay & Moseley at 11:00 am with Mark Bredholt officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Arthritis Foundation.
Mrs. Fortner passed away Wednesday August 23, 2017 at her home. She was born in Eastover, SC and was the daughter of the late William C. and Clellie Goff Drawdy. Mrs. Fortner enjoyed going to thrift shops and drawing and spending time with her family.
Mrs. Fortner is survived by her son, Toby Fortner and daughter, Alisha (Eddy) Lowrance; grandchildren, William Troy Fortner, Jr. Christopher Jake Fortner, Ethan Mckensie Lowrance and Cameron Miles Lowrance.
