A Memorial Service to celebrate the life of Jean A. Ogburn will be held at Center Grove Church in Kershaw, SC Tuesday August 8, 2017 at 3:00 PM. The family will receive friends following the service at the home, 201 East Church Street, Kershaw.
Jean Adams Ogburn died on Wednesday, August 2, 2016. Born February 12,1929 in Kershaw, SC, she was the daughter of the late John Thomas Adams and Sarah Catherine Holley. Mrs. Ogburn served as the Kershaw Town Clerk for many years. Surviving are her two children, Cathy O. Faulkenberry, and her husband Douglas, of Kershaw and son Thomas W. Ogburn of Santa Fe, New Mexico, one granddaughter, Lauren E. Faulkenberry of Whittier,NC; two sisters Esther A. Marshall of Kershaw and Sybil A. Neal of Easley, SC. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Willis L. Ogburn, Jr. and brother, William F. Adams.
