Violet,

We met a few times many years ago. Jack and I went to basic training together and became instant friends since we were both Alabama natives (and fans). We then spent our first 4 years in the Army together at D 5/16 in Fort Riley, Kansas and then
A 1/16, Panzer Kaserne, Boeblingen, Germany. I considered him a good friend, and a model soldier. I'm sorry to hear of his passing. He was a fine man with a tremendous legacy. God bless you and yours.

Eddie

In Godly love, may we be equipped with the Holy Spirit to reach out to each other in the spirit of unity. Teach us to be kind, and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other, just as Christ forgave each of us. In Jesus name we pray Amen!!!!!

Our Dedication to Roll Tide

Frederick Bernard Jackson "Roll Tide Roll" ... A Gift To Us All!!

Whether you knew him from a chance meeting, buddy or a friend, a sibling, relative, father or an adoring doting wife ... It is one meeting you will not ... Soon ... Or ever forget!!

"Roll Tide" was a gift to us all ... And we are blessed ... That he was strategically placed in our lives by Almighty God!!

His infectious smile, wit, giver of himself whatever the need ... If he could do it ... Count him in ... If he couldn't he would find another way or person who could!!

Hebrews 13:16 "Do not neglect to do good and to share what you have, fore such sacrifices are pleasing to God. "

As his journey of health challenges began ... And the transport from one place to another ...Diagnosis ... After another ... That infectious smile, faith and trust in God's plan became evident by the way he faced his fate till the very end.

Frederick Bernard Jackson's Deployment Ended Here ... But he is ... Now ... Heaven Bound!!

Probably with a message similar to this:

Notwithstanding ... The Lord stood witb me, and strengthened me

The Lord saying, "Do not be afraid of what you are about to suffer."

I have stood firm in the Lord
Through Prayer ... In Prayer ... Faith ... Perseverance

I have fought a good fight ... I have kept the faith
I am now ready ... And the time of my departure is at hand

Grieve not for me
Remember the best times
Remember me with smiles and laughter ...The good life I lived when I was strong

I'm counting on you ... Keep on smiling ... And Remember ... Roll Tide ... Is Rollin!!!

You will forever be in our hearts. I will never forget all the times we spent outside in our Gardens and yards together, Beer in hand watching the chickens. You were the first person I met in our neighborhood. Even before we moved into our house. You and Violet always treated us like family, treated our son like he was your own. You both became our Family. I always enjoyed football season. Cowboys(you) Vs. Redskins(me). Getting to give you a hard time, even though my team always seemed to lose. Picking on you when Alabama lost to Clemson. That was fun. Hey Alabama did it this year though.
I'm going to miss you. John and Emily will to. We lost an amazing friend and family member.

All our love,
John, Emily and Johnboy Guertin.

ROLL TIDE!

Please accept my condolences as you mourn the loss of Frederick. Be assured that our compassionate God is keenly aware your pain. The Bible clearly shows that in due time, he will restore life on earth to those in his memory and eliminate all suffering, including death. Therefore, take comfort as you view the video link below:
