A memorial service for Esther Lane Adams Marshall, 92, of Kershaw will be held at 2 pm Sunday December 16, 2018 at Center Grove Church of Kershaw. The family will receive friends following the service at the home, 201 East Church Street, Kershaw.
Mrs. Marshall passed away Wednesday December 12, 2018. She was born in Kershaw and was the daughter of the late John Thomas Adams and Sarah Catherine Holley. Mrs. Marshall was the loving wife of the late Wallace Rutledge Marshall. She was the oldest living sibling of her family, residing in Kershaw, and spent her entire working career as executive secretary at Springs Foundry in Lancaster and Haile Gold Mine in Kershaw.
Mrs. Marshall was preceded in death by her siblings, William F. Adams, Jean A. Ogburn,
Jack T. Adams. She is survived by her sister and brother in law
Mrs. Sybil A. Neal and Dr. Archie C. Neal, brother-in-law; niece and nephews, Mrs. Cathy O. (Douglas) Faulkenberry, Thomas W. Ogburn,
A. Kim (Karen) Neal, Billie A. (Wade) Thompson and
Robert F. (Marcia) Adams; great nieces and nephew, Lauren E. Faulkenberry, Ashley K. Reeves, Katherine K. Craven, Adam M. Neal, Julia T. Smith, John W. Thompson III, Joseph D. Thompson, Alexander F. Adams and Nicholas D. Adams.
