Donald Compton Obituary

Donald Eugen Compton, 91, from Louisville, KY passed away peacefully surrounded by loving family on October 23, 2018. Don grew up in Atlantic City, NJ and Louisville, KY, then served in the United States Navy during WWII.

Donald was the son of the late Olgar McKendrick Compton and Elena Newlin Compton and brother of the late Bryan Conrad Compton. He is survived by his daughter Alane Compton Campbell, her husband Berry Campbell of Columbia, SC, step daughter Norrine Martin, and his many loving grandchildren.

Private funeral services will be held graveside at Fort Jackson National Cemetery on Wednesday, October 31st at 11:00 am. Kornegay & Moseley Funeral Service is in charge.
