David Wayne Walker

David Wayne Walker, 43, departed this earthly life on Sunday, August 20, 2017, at his home.
David is survived by his life partner Tracy Eakes, two grown children, Jordan Young and Ian Walker, and Wyatt Walker, Kennedy Walker Eakes and, Christian Eakes, of the home.
David was preceded in death by a beloved brother, Curtis Michael Walker, and a beloved sister, Lori Ann Walker.
A South Carolina resident for many years, most recently, David was a sales manager at Wilson Chevrolet. He often recalled fond memories of the time spent with his younger children as a stay at home Dad. He enjoyed time spent on the lake, reading, and movies. Wyatt remembers many fun movie dates with their Dad. David had a special nickname for his only daughter, “Punicorn,” after an imaginary animal she drew for him when she was very small. She said it made her feel loved. Tracy remembers David with love as a hard-working man, fiercely devoted to their life and family. Those who loved David will cherish their memories always.
A private memorial service was held. The family has chosen Kornegay & Moseley Funeral Home for the arrangements
