Charles E. Turner

A funeral service for Charles E. Turner, 90 of Elgin will be held on Wednesday, January 31, 2018 at 11 AM in the chapel of Kornegay & Moseley funeral home (NE Columbia) with burial to follow at the Fort Jackson national cemetery with full military honors. The family will receive friends and family members on Tuesday, January 30, 2018 from 7 to 9 PM at the funeral home, in lieu of flowers donations may be made to a charity of ones choice. 

Mr. Turner passed away Wednesday, January 24, 2018; he was born in Saluda County and was the son of the late Colie and Lizzie Snipes Turner he was retired from the United States Army and Ceratizit as a Mechanical Engineer.

Mr. Turner is survived by his two sons Glenn and Patrick Turner, granddaughter Leah Harris, grandsons Nicholas, Caleb, and Andrew Webster, great grandsons Noah and Easton Webster and sister Ruby Lee Toon. Mr. Turner was preceded in death by his wife, Ingeborg L. Turner and daughter Eileen Turner Palshan.
