Charles Dennis Serber, 66, passed away November 13, 2018. He was born in Bluefield, WV March 20, 1952 and was residing in Blythewood, SC. He was formerly of Salem, VA and Buena Vista, VA.
He is preceded in death by his father, William R. Serber; mother, Lyla B. Serber; and wife, Wendy Floyd Serber.
He is survived by his son, Charles L. ( Karen M.) Serber; granddaughter, Katelyn E. Serber; and grandson Owen R. Serber of Blythewood, SC; grand dog, Finn his companion and protector; brother, William R. (Linda L.) Serber of Cape Coral, FL; sister, Lyla A. Serber of Blythewood, SC; nephew, Lyle R. Serber of Washington, DC; niece, Leslie J. Serber of Zug, Switzerland; and cousin, Jerry C. (Joan) Lee of San Diego, CA.
The family would like to give a special thank you to Tidewater Hospice of Columbia for their compassion and care, especially, Sonja Peele, Louise Duncan and Jason Ruff.
