While I only got to meet Bennie in the last few months - when surrounded by the "love of his life" and others who came to care for him daily and bring him joy - it was an honor to serve him and his loved ones. I hope they allowed you to take your favorite knit cap - wouldn't recognize you without it. Godspeed Bennie - peace and no more suffering.

While it is indeed sad that you are mourning the loss of your dear Bennie, it saddens God more. In the days ahead, you will reflect on his seemingly small, yet precious memories. This is only natural when we experience the loss of someone loved. However, be comforted in knowing that just as you have memories, almighty God remembers too. The difference is, God can and will restore perfect life to those in His memory as explained in the video link below** In the meantime, God warmly invites you to trust in Him for comfort (2 Cor. 1:3,4). Please accept my condolences during this time of distress.
