Armous “Pete” McKinley Peterson

Mr. Armous McKinley Peterson, Jr was born on September 29, 1957 in Norfolk, Virginia to the late Armous Peterson, Sr and the late Edith Peterson. He departed his life on March 30, 2019 surrounded by his family. 

“Pete” as he was affectionately known graduated from Weequahic High School in Newark, New Jersey in 1976. From there he joined the Military where he served sixteenyears. Armous then was employed by Lexington Medical Center and later moved to Palmetto Health Baptist. In his spare time Armous enjoyed spending time with family and friends, watching the cooking channel, and traveling. When able, Armous attended the Kingdom Hall with his wife and loved attending the conventions and assemblies.

Armous was preceded in death by his father, Mr. Armous Peterson, Sr and his mother, Edith Peterson. Left to cherish precious memories are: his wife of forty years, Robin Peterson (SC), his children, Kawana (Roman) Owens (SC), Ayanna (Brian) Douglas (SC), Armous Peterson III (SC) and Sade (Tim, Jr) Wiggins (SC), two sisters, Vanessa (Joseph) Jetter (NJ) and Denise Peterson (SC), six grandchildren and one great grandchild, nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of other loving family and friends, all of whom will miss him dearly. Armous was a loving Father and a proud Grandfather.
