Elliott Cox Obituary
Retired Master Sergeant Elliott L Cox, 64, husband of the late Julia Douglas Cox of Blythewood, passed away in Wednesday, May 6, 2020 at his home in Blythewood, SC. His home was Ocala, Florida. He was son to the late Sylvester and Rhoda Sanders Cox.
He attended Spring Valley High School, and then served for 24 years in the United States Army retiring at the rank of Master Sergeant. In his spare time, he enjoyed watching sports, cooking and fishing. On cool evenings would go out and walk his dog Biscuit around the neighborhood.
He is survived by sons Nathan, Gregory and daughter Timika of Columbia, SC, and 4 grandchildren Nathan, Laneisha, Melody and Elliott. He is also survived by his brother Richard of Ocala, FL, sister Sarah of Hinesville, GA nieces and nephews.
He was preceded by his wife Julia, brother Sylvester Cox Jr. and sister Shirley Riley Cox.
