A service to celebrate the life of Margaret Elizabeth Cook Moorehous, 67, of Lugoff will be held at 11:00 am Tuesday November 21, 2017in the chapel of Kornegay & Moseley with Rev. Dr. Mark Bredholt officiating. Burial will follow the service at Greenhaven Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 pm Monday November 20, 2017 at the funeral home.
Mrs. Moorehous passed away Friday November 17, 2017 at her home. She was born in Columbia, SC and was the daughter of the late Robert and Mary Jane Barr Cook. Mrs. Moorehous was an animal lover, she enjoyed reading, gardening, crossword puzzles, music and trips to the mountains.
Mrs. Moorehous is survived by her husband, Dennis Moorehous; daughters, Tia Wiseman and Destiny Renaissance; sisters, Frances (Jack) Watkins, Sarah (Walter) Pruitt, Linda Bloodworth and Deborah Davis; grandsons, Cole and Corey McGrady and her four legged companions, Heidi, Smoaky and Kirn.
