Janice Martin Torres departed her life on Thursday February 28, at 11:00pm at Palmetto Baptist Hospital after a long illness

Mrs Janice Martin Torres was born February 11, 1962 in Kershaw County. She was the beloved daughter of the late Deacon Clarence and Deaconess Betty Geiger Martin. Janice was educated in the Kershaw County Public School. She graduated from Spring Valley High School, also attended Clark Atlanta University. She was employed by Blue Cross and Blue Shield and self-employed by Martin Trucking Company. At an early age Janice received her Christian experience and was baptized at Rehoboth Baptist Church. She was a member of the choir and sang with other gospel groups. She was preceeded in death by her father Deacon Clarence Martin Sr. She leaves to cherish her memories her husband of 11 years Darwin Torres. Her loving mother Deaconess Betty Martin, CJ (Jaide), Tony(Nino), one daughter Brittany. Grandchildren Zion, Zack, Gracie, Ayden, Nehemiah. Brother Micheal Clarence Jr. One sister Barbara Johnson. Uncle Emeritius Deacon Levi Martin. Aunts Martha M Branch, Kathrine Glover and a host of nieces and nephews and other loving relatives and friends.
