James "Jim" W. Rodgers

A service to celebrate the life of James "Jim" W. Rodgers, 83, of Elgin will be held at 12:30 pm Wednesday July 25, 2018 in the chapel of Kornegay & Moseley.  The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.  Burial will follow the service at the Fort Jackson National Cemetery with full military honors.  

Mr. Rodgers passed away Friday July 20, 2018.  He was born April 19, 1935 in Rock Hill.  He retired from the  US Air Force.  He was also a member of Gideon International, Columbia Camp East and the Spring Valley Baptist Church.  

Mr. Rodgers is survived by his daughter, Becky (David) Rogers, grandchildren Andrew (Jamie) Rogers and Joshua (Chantelle) Rogers, and great grandchildren, Levi and Parker Rodgers.  Mr. Rodgers was preceded in death by his father and mother, wife, Jerri and son, Chris.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Spring Valley Baptist Church or Gideon Camp East.
