J. Allen Kinard

A service to celebrate the life of J. Allen Kinard, 62, of Elgin will be held at 11:00 am Monday July 23, 2018 in the chapel of Kornegay & Moseley. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Burial will follow the service at Greenhaven Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to a charity of ones choice.
Allen passed away Friday July 20, 2018. He was born February 25, 1956 in Columbia and was the son of Peggy J. Joyner Kinard and the late James R. Kinard. Allen was an avid Gamecock fan and loved to fish.
In addition to his mother, he survived by his brother, Steve L. (Darlene) Kinard; Bruce L. (Robin) Kinard;  sister, Joyce M. (Tommy) Mellette and many aunts, uncles, cousins, nephews and nieces who loved him dearly. Allen was preceded in death by his father.
