David Micheal Ellis

A service to celebrate the life of David Michael Ellis, 68, of Blythewood will be held at 1:00 pm Saturday August 17, 2019 in the chapel of Kornegay & Moseley. The family will receive friends following the service at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers please make memorial donations to the Alzheimer’s Association, American Heart Association and the ITP Association.

Mr Ellis passed away Wednesday August 14, 2019 at home surrounded by his loving family. He was born in Muncie, Indiana and was the son of the late Merrill and Maxine Rose Ellis. Mr. Ellis enjoyed the great outdoors, camping, cooking, boating and racing. He retired as a diesel mechanic from Carolina International.

Mr Ellis is survived by his loving wife, Blanche Ellis; children, Michael Ellis, Bruce Ellis and Erin (Matt) Hickey; six grandchildren and 1 great grandchild; sisters, Barbara Lester and Joann Friend. Mr. Ellis was preceded in death by his parents, brother, Gene Ellis and sister, Linda Kidder.
