Dale Brazell Obituary

Dale Brazell (Deacy) of Hopkins, SC, passed away on December 20, 2018. She was born May 11, 1953, to the late Woodrow and Cora Bell Medlin. She was the youngest of five children. She is survived by her husband of 29 years, John C. Brazell of the home; son, Bobby (Jennifer) Gandy of North Carolina; stepchildren, John Brazell, Jr., and Michelle Brazell; two grandchildren, Courtney and Kaylee Gandy and their mother, Tina; two brothers, James Hammond of Elgin and Charles Medlin of Camden; and one sister, Frances Summerton of Elgin. She was predeceased by her brother, Woodrow Medlin. Deacy was loved by many, including her second family: Aunt Jane, Pat, Tina, Judy, Peanut, and Tony. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews. She will be missed.

Graveside will be held at Fort Jackson National Cemetery, 4170 Percival Rd., Columbia, SC at 2:00pm.
