Rene S. Davis, 57, of Lexington, South Carolina passed away on July 18, 2017 after a courageous battle with cancer.
The funeral service will be held at 11:00AM on Saturday, July 22 at Jackson Creek Baptist Church. Dr. Mac Buriss of Jackson Creek Baptist Church will be officiating. Visitation will be held at 10:00AM at the church. Burial will follow the funeral at the church graveyard. Funeral arrangements are being handled by Kornegay & Moseley Funeral Home.
Rene was born in Frankfurt, Germany on May 20, 1960. She graduated from Spring Valley High School and worked as a waitress for most of her life at many local restaurants.
Rene is survived by: her mother, Mary C. Smith; brother, Mark K. Smith (Cristal);
children, Olivia S. Harms (Daniel) and David M. Sidwell; and other family and friends. Rene is preceded in death by her father, Winfred E. Smith.
The family would like to extend their deepest thanks to Rene's dearest friend, Jewell Broach, for all of her love, care, and support through her illness.
