A service to celebrate the life of Parks Hutto, 14, of Blythewood will be held 4:00pm Monday, June 15, 2015 at Trinity United Methodist Church. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00pm Sunday June 14, 2015 at Trinity in the CLC. Please make memorial donations to TUMC, 155 Blythewood Road, Blythewood, SC 29016.
Parks passed away Thursday June 11, 2015 after a short battle with Myocarditis. He is the son of John and Ginny McCorkle Hutto. Parks was a member at Trinity, was involved in Abide and Fairway Outreach, SCJGA, Classic JR Golf and the PGA League. He is a rising freshman at Blythewood High and was a member of the varsity golf team since 7th grade. He was an accomplished baseball player and golfer with numerous top finishes in SCJGA and high school tournaments. He loved hunting, fishing, riding dirt bikes and spending time with family and friends.
Parks is survived by his parents, John and Ginny Hutto; brother, Matthew Hutto; grandmothers, Lynia Hutto of Lexington and Janet McCorkle of Camden; Aunt, Marnita Caraway of Lexington and uncle, Chris (Dana) McCorkle of Concord, SC. Parks was preceded in death by his grandfathers, Crawford Hutto and Buddy McCorkle.
