Floyd Stewart Beasley, age 75, born in Winnsboro, SC, son of the late Floyd E. and Mary S. Beasley, passed away on Saturday, September 2, 2017 at Providence Hospital in Columbia, SC. Funeral services were held at Kornegay and Moseley Funeral Home on Monday, September 4, 2017. He worked 39 years for the A & P Tea Company and 21 years for I. G. A. Grocery Store in Blythewood, SC. He retired in March 2017.
Stewart was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather.
He was a man who believed in treating others the way he wanted to be treated. He had high morals for honesty, loyalty and a man of his word.
He attended Highway Pentecostal Holiness Church regularly and loved playing the guitar. He taught a class at church for a while until he started having health issues.
He accepted the Lord, Jesus, Christ, as his savior and was ready to meet the Lord.
He leaves behind: his wife, Lenette, daughter, Tammie (Robbie) Caudle, granddaughter, Charlotte Beasley, grandsons: Jason Dove and Noah Caudle and one great granddaughter, Karolynne Dove, and one sister, Ann (Glenn) Lutz.
He will be missed but we know we will rejoin him one day.
