The last time I saw Ray at Dr Park's office, we had such a great time sharing memories of Robbie & Craig's baseball days at Caughman Road Park. He was a fine man and he will be missed!

While it is indeed sad that you are mourning the loss of your dear Dr. Adams, it saddens God more. In the days ahead, you will continue to reflect on seemingly small, yet precious memories. This is only natural when we experience the loss of someone loved. However, be comforted in knowing that just as we have memories, almighty God remembers too. The difference is, God can and will restore perfect life to those in His memory (John 5:28,29) In the meantime, He warmly invites you to trust in Him for comfort (2 Cor. 1:3,4). Please accept my condolences at this most distressing time.

What a wonderful gentle man and eye doctor as well as a fellow church member.. He was my eye doctor for many many years. Having me put in contacts to keep me from having to change prescription. That has been a long long time and my prescription has only changed once in all that. He always had time to talk about whatever you as his patient wanted to talk about. I always enjoyed his conversations and he had good opinions about things. He was a wonder man in the church and a great family man. He left here exactly 6 months to the day that my mom left us. I pray you all will find peace and comfort in his memories and the things he did with you. I remember you all coming to our house at Christmas time and singing Christmas carols with the whole family. It was always good to hear your voices at that time of year. May Heavenly Father bless you is my prayer.

Ray and Judy were one of the first people I met when I moved to South Carolina 33 years ago. Ray always had a smile on his face and made you feel welcome in his home. My sympathy goes out to Judy, Anina, Robbie, Nicki, Megan and MIndy and all the grand and great-grandchildren. He will truly be missed by everyone who knew him.

We are grateful to have know Ray. He was a wonderful friend and a great eye doctor and helped us many times with our children's eye 'accidents.' Have not seen him or his family since we moved to Lexington but never forgot any of them. Such a kind and happy man with a wonderful family. Our love and condolences to Judy and kids. May our Heavenly Father and His Son Jesus Christ comfort, warm and console you now and in times to come.

Sincerely,
Richard and Treci Senecal

Dr. Adams was such a sweet and loving man, I so enjoyed talking with him whenever I visited USC Ophthalmology from the NICU. He was so encouraging and understanding, full of a Christ-like spirit, so willing to see the good in others. I was richly blessed to have known him and I am so sad to hear of his passing. He loved to talk about his family and share stories of his "grands". Please know that he will be fondly remembered, always loved and that you and his whole family are being lifted up in prayer. Until we are together again, may your hearts be comforted by wonderful memories of a good and kind man, father, grandfather, physician and friend who will be missed by many.

I had the great pleasure of working for Dr. Adams at USC Department of Ophthalmology for about three years. Dr. Adams was always exceptionally kind to the staff and he was loved by his patients. Almost everyone that worked for the department knew how Dr. Adams felt about his family. He was so proud of his grandchildren. Whenever he had a break between patients, he would talk about their many talents and accomplishments. It was abundantly clear that he loved spending time with them at home and being present as much as possible for other events. Whenever he talked about Mrs. Judy, you could see the love, admiration and appreciation he had for her in his eyes. Dr. Adams was simply a lovely person. His presence will be missed. To the family, may the Lord bring you comfort during your time of sorrow.

I was deeply saddened to hear of Dr. Adams passing. I worked with him a good while in the Ophthalmology Department as USC. He was such a joy to work with and I loved hearing about the family. My thoughts and prayers are with you all now as you sorrow over his passing but celebrate his life and legacy.
