Dear Maass Family,
I met Al later in his life journey when he was at the Rice House at the same time
as my mother. I had many pleasant interactions and conversations with him. Even at this later stage of his life, it was easy to see that he was a kind, caring and intelligent man who had been blessed with a wonderful partner and family. I know that Al will be greatly missed but hope all will take comfort in remembering a life lived with dedication and commitment to family, faith and country. I am blessed to have met him.
